Meet the Team
GM Creative Media is part of a collective of entrepreneurs in the creative arts and media industry, each one of us bringing a diverse set of skills and services with an aligned purpose: to support the development and production of inspiring stories celebrating human connection, art, business and culture.

Genna (she/her) is the founder of GM Creative Media, a bespoke production company with a focus on supporting the work of artists from underrepresented communities.
Genna brings over fifteen years of experience producing and directing documentary, scripted, captured performance, interactive, and commercial work.

Mateo G. Torres (he/him/any) is a Colombian-Canadian multidisciplinary artist. He began training in Bogota at an early age, and deepened his studies in the USA, Cuba, and Canada. As an interpreter, he has worked with a wide array of directors and choreographers, for live theatre, voice over and film.
His most recent work I:POLITICAL was presented by Citadel+Compagnie in 2021 and was later produced as a dance film.
Mateo is the founder of GG Movement, a local dance performance and teaching company, whose call is “to find our essential truth, to connect with it, honour it, and to express ourselves from it”.

Kris Von Kleist (they/them) is a queer, non-binary, vegan, award winning filmmaker, creative director, director of photography, videographer, video editor, content creator, actor & overall story teller.
Originally from the rural Northwestern Ontario town, Ear Falls, KVK has grown to establish their filmmaking & content creating career by being an active supporting member in the Northwest & Southern Ontario Arts communities. Within their 10 year (and counting) career, KVK’s experiences range from independent features, short films, music videos, commercials, live-stream, T.V show productions, being media lead for live event coverage and more.
